Using complex software, we can very accurately trace the suns path around your building. From the cad drawings and site survey we accurately built the proposed building and the surrounding buildings.
We set up the 3D model in our sunlight environment locating it on its exact longitude/latitude co-ordinate. At this stage we can then create snapshots of the shadows generated at various times of the day, at various times of the year. These snap shots are outputted as still images; alternatively we can produce an animation of the shadows and lighting created by the sun during a certain time period. The example above shows such an animation, showing the shadows and lighting for a 24 hour period around a proposed new house. This was created, as the architect wanted to show his client how their house would be illuminated throughout the day.
