You supply us with the original drawings (in CAD or paper format).  Preferably we receive these via email. If this isn't possible then paper copies via the post will suffice. In this example we were supplied with the floor plans of a proposed development along with a simple perspective sketch which the architect had done up. (see next image). The architect wanted to get a 3d image done up by Digital Horizons, as a feasibility study. They hadn't the time to draft up detailed drawings. They required a 3D image so that they could assess their design concept at this early stage.

Using very sophisticated software We turn the original 2d plans & sketch into a 3d model. We then liase with the client and agree on a viewpoint from where the 3D image will be viewed from. In this example the client wanted to see the building from a viewpoint at ground level which would pick up the most impressive facade of the building.

This is the most exciting stage. Real world colours & textures are applied to the 3D model, as well as lighting & accurate shadows. We can simulate any lighting conditions, at any time of the day. At this stage the architect can truly begin to see his/her creation in 'reality'. This image can be emailed to the client for comments at this stage. With these comments we refine the image until the client is happy.
