Stage 1

We take the original drawings (either in digital or hard copy formats). Preferably we receive these via email, but we can work with paper copies if that suits. In this example we were supplied with digital CAD drawings of the the proposed development. These drawings consisted of the usual plans, elevations etc. The architect wanted to get a 3D image done up so that he could demonstrate to the client how exactly the building would look. Very often people find it difficult to visualize something in 3D when studying 2D plans

Stage 2

Using our sophisticated software, be build up a full 3D model of the proposal. We then liaise with the architect and agree on a viewpoint from the where the 3D image will be viewed from. In this example the architect wanted to see the building from a viewpoint at ground level which would pick up the most impressive facade of the building.

Stage 3

This is the most exciting stage. Real world colors & materials are added to the 3D model. Lighting & accurate shadows are also added for realism. We can simulate any lighting conditions-at any hour of the day, at any day of the year. At this stage the building becomes alive, and the architect can really begin to see his/her creation in “reality”. This image can then be emailed to the client for comments. Using these comments, the image is refined until the client is happy.

Stage 4

At this stage the image is dressed up to give it context. Detail such as people, cars, planting and skies are added to complete the image. The final image is then emailed back to the client and the process is complete. Alternatively we can supply the image in DVD format, or printed on high quality paper in our studio on any size up to A1.
